Egyptian Embassy Facade Redesign

ABOUT DENMARK
Denmark is a Scandinavian country comprising the Jutland Peninsula and numerous islands. It's linked to nearby Sweden via the Öresund bridge. It has cold weather, so we can't do without pitched roofs to avoid water and snow load on the ceiling, wide windows to have enough amount of sunlight and heat.

Why did we choose Denmark
It's a great challenge to merge between two different civilizations with different cultures, styles and context.

CONCEPT
We decided to add Egyptian identity to the  embassy building but also keep Denmark architectural style and making the building a landmark itself. We chose some Egyptian items such as Horus,  Hieroglyphic symbols and Ancient Egyptian columns too. We saved the old building colors , white and blue. But added golden inscriptions to make the building more catchy and attractive.

MATERIALS
We wanted to use materials that suit the different 2 styles, so we used bricks, steals, stones and glass
